Firewall Hole Location

I haven't taken a look yet since my car is still under-cover in the garage for a couple of more weeks. Does anyone know where the firewall hole is located in the passenger footwell? Even approximately? I need to get to the fuse box in the top right corner of the engine bay.

see page 9 of this notice : http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/att...7&d=1451223246

you need to uninstall the plate under the glove box then to ply the carpet to see the big cābles and his rubber grommet.

There are two predrilled holes on the left side.

drill a 8mm hole with a manual tool.

Yes, I saw that post but assumed that only applied to the f30 series. I guess you're saying it's the same for the f22? And I need to drill a hole? Is the existing hole not big enough or have enough space to pass a single wire through?

there's only a a non-through cylindrical hole for perhaps 1cm of lengh.
I managed to pierce with a large screwdriver.
I put in it an aluminum tube then three wires protected by a thermal sleeve and remove the tube.

There's also permanent 12v and fuses in the FEM module but not easy to change a fuse if necessary.

Checked last night, definitely there on the passenger side and comes out really close to the fuse box, so thanks for that. Much appreciated.
