The HK tweeters are harsh and unpleasant. Has anyone upgraded them? Suggestions welcome.

1) I think it's very difficult to find separate tweeters that fit oem wings
2) To replace tweeters, you must remove doors panels

So best way is to choose a kit : perhaps bavasound or european material :Focal but very expensive in the USA (french price is correct) or try this German Kit :

How would you describe the sound of the Eton system?

for me, it's very good. If i prefer classic or Opera, with my wife we hear all kinds of Music, only in Flac in the car.

I use little brother of Bimmertech amp (pp52DSP) with a special mono amp for subs and made my own ajustements with Audiotech's software and a measurement microphone.

Thanks, Grave. I'm working my way through your excellent installation instructions. I think I get most of it, especially, "La j'ai bien mérité un coup à boire."!
