I've only used Shell so far, only on my 3rd tank full, lol.
Would love some E0 gas...
None to be found near me though

Usually use Mobil on my other cars, 93 E10

I simply buy 93 from whichever Top Tier station in my area is convenient and relatively cheap. AFAIK, there is no evidence of any difference in effect between brands and prices fluctuate wildly. Currently, the Shell station near me is charging 20 cents more per gallon than the Gulf station within shouting distance from them. Mobil is 15 cents less than Gulf!
Go figure.
Even with the tiny tank on these cars, that's a Starbucks latte.

It is well known that there is no value in overdoing octane. A car designed for 87 will not perform any better with a higher-octane fuel.
My recollection is that BMW recommends 91 (USA), but says that you can use 89 in a pinch. Nothing about 91 vs. 93.
I am referring to engines with standard tunes only, not tuned engines, which are an entirely different story.
91-100 RON for octane, so in U.S. measure 87-96 AKI. As you guys know, the fuel door states 91 minimum, so that's what I use.

My car did have a bit sharper throttle response on the German 100 ROZ VPower than what was in the car when I picked it up (or have used in the U.S.) I meant to ask at the Welt what they filled it with, but forgot.

CostCo is literally right across the street from my work, super convenient BUT they do not have ethanol free and thats all I have ever used since taking delivery. Sad day. I usually just find the best ethanol free 91 near me and roll with it. No 93 where I am.

I have never found much if any ethanol-free fuel in the Northeast.
Is this a regional thing?

It tends to be available in more rural areas where it's commonly used in farm equipment. See https://www.pure-gas.org/
