Hi Folks,

I just moved over here from the 1Addicts forum. I traded my 2010 128i convertible for a 2017 23i convertible. I loved my 128i but I wanted something newer with less miles and some warranty. This 230i is quite a car. Lots to learn about the iDrive and everything. Looking forward to learning some stuff here.

Looks great. Now take it from someone who had not one, but two, BMWs with Oyster interior, who's switched to a black interior, get yourself some interior wipes, 'cause you're gonna need 'em. That interior, while attractive, WILL show blue jean rub off, and every other speck of dirt, in short order. You DON'T need to spend a ton on expensive leather wipes, because this interior is "barely" leather. It's tough stuff, to be sure. But it's not Nappa or Merino leather, so you can use just about anything short of full strength hydrochloric acid as a cleaner. I'm only slightly joking. But the point is, the Oyster interior is gonna dirty. So be ready to wipe it down.

yep hammer that with Lexol 2-4 times a year...takes a few minutes and will save it and make it way easier to keep clean.
