I need that today! Just came back from a week at the beach & I don't even want to touch the car with all the sand & salt spray stuck to it!! What model CG tool is that?

It's their Torq Pro foamer and Stubby Spray Gun. The foamer is awesome and will be great with any pressure washer. I've used it for 2 years now. I just wanted something much shorter than my long lance that came with the pressure washer. Truly a game changer.

Unbelievable: a stray line of monsoonal showers came overhead this morning (it woke me up) so I didn't want to have water spots on my 2-Series so I got up and wiped off the rain. Is that crazy?

I just got mine back from the body shop. Detailed out all the scratches and scuffs and pulled a few small dings.
The car is completely stock, which is how I want to keep it and I plan to keep it a long time. It will be paid for in February.
Looks like new!

Certainly not if you want your car looking sharp.

When I lived in the Bay Area, I had my black M635CSi detailed regularly, and I always made it a point to avoid water. Fog, too, for that matter - that stuff was murder on a clean car.

Nothing's really changed in that regard for me, either: my M240i has been rained on three times since I picked it up in June, 2018, and each time was unavoidable. It helps that it's not a DD.

You would think that I'd learn my lesson regarding dark/black colored cars, but nope.
My last car was a black '07 Z4.
EDIT

I kind of have a thing for topless Germans.

Not if your car is black. My M235 is the first black car I've owned and I'm amazed how freaking dirty it gets with every passing shower. Definitely sticking to brighter colors in the future.

Sold in 1986, that M6 was my last black car.

I much prefer white now, and got the M240i in EB because configuration and availability trump color. I've come to like EB quite a lot, and it doesn't show road grime nearly as much as I was concerned that it would.

Here's where I show just how much I never learn: My car IS Arctic White underneath the black/purple vinyl wrap.

Well, when clean they both look good, so there's always that!

True, but keeping the dark color clean is a hassle, even with the ceramic coating.

How much did I pay for the detailing?
$300 plus $100 for each ding, which requires some special ding removal tool that only this one guy with magic hands knows how to use.
This is at the local body shop that I have been using for decades.
Unfortunately, the owner is about to retire. The insurance companies simply don't pay enough now to make it worth his while.

I longingly stared at it another day up on tire savers and connected to a battery tender on a beautiful day. Six weeks after right arm rotator cuff repair surgery, I can just now drive my automatic 3GT. Can't wait for the physical therapy to allow the arm to move comfortably enough for a manual trans again! This would have been a great time to live in the U.K.!

Had a moderate run-in with the concrete parking bumper that did a nice gouge under my M-Sport bumpers. Did a Google search and came up with this Scrape Armor product (https://scrapearmor.com) and had it installed by the body shop that repaired the previous scrape damage. It's only 2 mm thick and not at all noticeable; the kit comes complete with everything one needs to attach it to the bumper, even came with a depth limiting drill bit, torx driver and adhesive. I'm still very careful going over dips especially from the road to an inclined driveway but hopefully this armor will prevent further gouges in the undersides of the bumper.
