Flow Through carbon spoiler upgade

So here is my experience with the M Performance Flow Through carbon spoiler upgrade.
The part number is 5192409319. I bought it at a pretty nice price and I decided to buy the original mounting kit as well.

There were no pictures of the mounting parts on the web.
So here are the pictures:

The process is complex so I do not recommend DIY, it is better to find a certified service.
The most difficult part is removing the internal panels under the trunk lid trim and to paste these new adapters there.
You will need 50 ML of Betalink Body Panel Adhesive Glue (82699408866) to do so.
Also, the Torx bolts (07129900395) which were in the order list have a wrong size (M5X25-A2-70) - only 2 of them are ok to go with.
As I know the service changed them to other a bigger Torx bolts.

Looks great. Aggressive, but not too "boy racer". Enjoy.

Many thanks, man! It is not too big, so I like how it looks with the other M Performance parts installed.

You know, at first I was kind of cringing at the thought of what it might look like but TBH it looks pretty damn good with your setup.

Thanks! There are already black M Performance side skirts with the stickers, do you think I need the upper side accent stripes too? The shadow on this place always highlights the car body line, itself, so I'm not sure yet. Also, I'm thinking about carbon mirror caps, they should look well with the carbon spoiler.

Vin,

Not a big "wing man", but I have to agree with everyone, it looks really sharp. Excellent work getting it on just right.

You will have to let us know it performs at speed. Wicked cool!

Thank you Unicorn!
Yes, the very first impression is that the car a bit more solid after 60-70 mph already, lane changing is more precise now.
I hope this is not a self-suggestion I will watch further.

Carbon mirror caps and black alloys and you are sorted. Would not go for the upper strip on a blue car, have seen it on some white cars and its looks decent tho

Looks great! If I end up keeping my M240i long term, I will seriously consider this mod. Thanks for sharing!

What color are the MP aero blades/side skirts? Hard to tell on my iPhone... my opinion is these should always be painted body color for proper aesthetic when combined with the matte black rocker decals. I'd skip the upper decal, personally. I did painted aero blades/skirts + matte black rocker decals with mine and I just love this look.

I don't think you need black wheels, btw. Wheels are hard to get right on this car due to the offset requirements and limited aftermarket options. Finding something that can fit wider rubber front and rear while also not poking past the fenders or hitting the struts is the goal. Getting proper fitment will result in good aesthetic appeal regardless of color choice.

Thank you for your opinions! The blades are black matte. My idea was to stay with black whole matte at the bottom line, mostly 'cause of same black MP diffuser. Carbon fiber parts in the middle line - rear spoiler plus mirror caps.

Also I have doubts regarding carbon grilles. I saw them on few aftermarket stores. I'm not a big fan of black grilles, especially MP glance ones. To be honest I like my current chrome grilles on Estoril Blue. So maybe I'll skip this.

And I agree about the wheels. Thank you.
