To give it a bit of an edge I'm looking at getting mineral grey with the coral red interior. I think mineral grey works best with the alloys and they look like a good combo to me.

What interior trim did you go for? Fineline wood, aluminium hexagon or brushed aluminium?

brushed. I would have liked red but being a Man City fan it a big no for me!!

LOL! Looking forward to the pics. Placed our initial order for one today and the ETA we've been given is mid-June. If we placed the order on Sunday when we test drove the car we would have had end of April delivery. Doh!

Hey Haslam, thanks for the pictures. Did you opt for the sun protection package on yours? Are you still happy with the colour?

I've placed my order now - but very nervous as I have yet to see MG in the flesh.

I've gone with coral red, brushed aluminium and the sun protection package (in terms of cosmetic changes). Your back seat windows don't look tinted, hence why I'm asking the question.

Yep its a really nice colour. Looks quite stealth when its clean. Yep got the sun protected glass. Your right it doesn't look dark but in real life it does. All I can say is the car looks so much better in real life. I think this has been discussed in over areas of the site. When u see it for the first time you will be blown away.

I saw the MG colour on a 4 series and it looked lush in the show room, just not on a 2 series. I'm sure me and the other half will love it. Roll on June

Had the car "New Vehicle Protection" package (paint sealant/protection, carpet protection) done on Thursday. If it every stops being like UK weather, I will shoot some photos and post them tomorrow. We are still waiting for the darn Cherry Blossoms to bloom here in Washington D.C. at the moment.

Congrats to ALL of you... MG really does work well w M235i and 228i. Interior choice is a personal thing w MG... I prefer Terra, but black no doubt works, and arguably CR too if that's your cup of tea. We MG's have to stick together after all.
