I've got those same springs waiting for me to install them in my XI.

But wait no camba plates ??? Bought everything else!!
One of the modifications to the car was the Dinan big turbo so comparing these numbers to the JB4 is not a good comparison.

Now as far as cost is concerned, only the piggyback is far more expensive than competitors. The bolt-ons are similar to anything else on the market. With that high price, piece of mind is obtained. No other tuning company offers a factory matching warranty on its ECU tunes and hardware. Not having to worry about out-of-pocket costs on a 400 whp M235 is awesome. There's no need to email Terry pertaining to any issues and receiving a response asking the user to perform data logs. Some of us just don't need this kind of automotive stress in our lives.
I wouldn't put too much weight on the warranty part. Reminds me of a famous scene from 'Tommy Boy' when I hear people justify paying more for Dinan.

However, I know first hand that the M235i responds well to modes. My ex-GFs car was stellar after I finished with some mods.

This.

Never a truer statement was uttered.

When I had the Dinan springs and bump stops installed on my car.....WOW.

It added more to the car than when I added the 130hp from the Stage 4 Dinan package.

CAuse its faster around a track

As proven with M3 rwd VS M3 AWD in AWD. An LSD drags the inside wheel around a turn. The x drive in a turn moves all drive to both inside wheels and then adapts to traction via is torque vectoring. You know, like a McClaren.

There is no state in the UNION that a JB4 is street legal. Which is why they STAMP closed course only on the JB4. Thus the reason why a Dinan piggyback cost more. It passes EPA rules and California CARB. EPA no cost. CARB on the other hand cost money. This is why the Dinan piggyback cost more.
