Any pics of the M Performance mats? I see they have silver detailing. It would maybe sorta-kinda match the open-pore carbon fiber, and break up the black of the interior a bit.

The fit is close, but not exact.

The ones direct from weathertech (with their logo on them), chosen specifically for our cars, are a bit different in size, especially since the foot area is somewhat longer, due to it being a coupe. The sides go up higher too.

I no longer have the F30 ones (sold them on facebook marketplace) but the f22 ones FROM weathertech, are indeed a closer fit, and worth getting the correct ones.
Interesting insight from someone who had both.

If I had read this comment before buying, think I would have gotten specific WeatherTechs for the F22. They are good enough that I don't think I would want to replace my brand new mats right away - maybe in a few years.

I am a little disappointed with these mats. They are actually rubber mats and they show scuff marks easily. And after only one year they are showing signs of wear. But they do look great

I have the same for 2 years and they still look very good with no sign of wear but I wash them every 2 weeks with a brush and dish soap. I don't think it is the best mat for severe weather.

I didn't know they're rubber. I'll just stick with OEM, I hate rubber mats and here in SoCal we don't need them

They don't have the conventional rubber look and they have a texture that imitate very short pile carpet.

Hrmmmm......

if I order the Dinan-branded BBS CI-R's I may just get Dinan mats.

I want carpet. Thick, luxurious carpet.

Interesting and thorough discussion. I'm a bit humblized to add: I thought I was doing OK with a generic 18 USD set from Walmart. Got out the mechanic's knife to cut for the gas pedal. I've had no problems. Hey, it's an option just to protect the carpet.

I had no idea so many floor mat options existed. I’ve used weathertechs on lots of my vehicles. My car came with the heavy, thick rubber bmw all season mats in the front. They’re alright. I really like those cocomats….

For those with F22 / cocomats / automatic transmission: The right foot heelpad appears to be quite adequate. However, if I rest my left foot on the "dead-pedal" , my left heel would be on the cocomat area that is not protected by a heelpad. Was wondering how that area wears? Cocomat heelpad sizes offered can not be combo-ed to cover the left heel area.

Just put these in a few days ago and haven't driven yet. You appear to be correct! Perhaps a resting-still foot can be handled by the coconut fibers?

OE Rubbers in winter and M2 comp mats in summer. Sounds fancy but they're just black carpet with blue stitching.

Reviving old thread. Are the BMW liners heavier than the weathertech liners?

I've had these BMW rubber liners for 2 years. They are great and clean up really well. I feel like they are just as heavy duty as weathertech but they differ in not having as high of sides to catch debris and liquid. I rarely drive in the winter (and never when its snowy/slushy). But this pic is making me want to vacuum out my car....

These look more like the mats not liners. Those are heavy and i wanted something lighter if possible. I was thinking about fitting the BMW f30 liners in my f22 like the above post but not sure. Thanks for sharing your experience with these.

Got it, liners not mats. My bad.
