When first starting car get a low oil level light need to add a quart or could cause engine issues.... then i do an oil measurement at operating temperature and its at max??? Bad sensor? Do I believe its full or is it low??? 51k miles about 3k on liquid Molly oil....

Sniper did it go away? After I do the measurement, it goes away and stays away... until I restart the car....

You're getting close to the age where some gaskets could be leaking. Check OFHG from the engine bay along with the VCG and maybe the OPG below.

I would simply take it in to get serviced. Or you could add some oil and see if it is a leak.

I had this exact same issue a month ago. I was tuned on BM3 stage 2 and I added the quart that it recommended, waning went away for a couple days then came back. I switched maps on BM3 from 93 oct to 91 and the issue has been gone ever since. Im not sure if it was caused by the tune or what but i called my local dealership and theyve never heard of this issue. If it comes back I am going to take it in for servicing but for the past 3 weeks its been fine.
