I got my M240i CPO, and sadly the steering wheel leather had been worn pretty shiny. I cleaned it with everything I could think of but the slightly rough OEM finish was just worn smooth and it would somewhat stick to my hands like a leather couch to the back of your thighs.

I was thinking about the M Performance steering wheel with the blue stripe, but then I came across Coby wheels. For only $250, they will send you a steering wheel to install and then take your core exchange back.

Installation was a bit difficult the first time but would be very easy the second time. The airbag took a few tries but I had the most success with a flathead. Once I had the wheel off, I had some trouble getting the paddle shifters unplugged (an eyeglass screwdriver took care of that) and some trouble was caused because when the paddle shifters were replaced under warranty, they were not put together exactly as they were from factory. Got that taken care of and all the wiring sits exactly as it should now.

Overall quality is excellent. It could easily be mistaken for OEM. The one small issue I had was some of the stitching on a lower spoke is visible with the trim installed, but it is on the rear side of the wheel and not the end of the world. No wrinkles and it makes my car smell new (assuming that's because of carpet glue?)

The F22 steering wheel is identical to F30. The original wheel even had F3X printed on the labels.

One item of note on Coby, he does a wrap not a reupholster. The resulting wheel is slightly thicker than original. In essence professional version of the DIY Mewant option.
