Has anyone had similar, intermittent Drivetrain Error warnings with their plugin hybrids?

The electric charge depletes under normal driving conditions, but then the fuel gauge suddenly displays no fuel even though there’s plenty of fuel in the tank causing the car to go into limp mode. Not great when you’re driving on fast single lane carriageways in traffic.

The workaround is to pull over, exit the car and leave it for two minutes, and it drives as completely normal again (?!).
