How do you store your extra set of wheels/tires
I want to get a second set of wheels and tires.
The only placed I have to store them is a basement of a house where the gas heater is and moisture and a condo where the storeroom area is mildewed. My garage is an old small barn that is exposed to the animals and weather. I will buy storage bags for the wheel and tires - so where should I store my tires ? |

Depending upon who you live with, if you do, one my friends cleaned tires & wheels to perfection, polishes rims and stack them two at time in the house with a plate glass on top. Did the same with a Lotus engine that he rebuilt and car was not ready. It was marvelous.
Voila, tire tables and conversation pieces all rolled into one. |

Out of the areas you mentioned, I would choose the basement with a heater but I would put each wheel/tire in a sealed trash bag to protect it from moisture. Temp and moisture will ruin tires so seal them in those black industrial trash bags from Home Depot and you should be good to go.
