F23 door lock pin

Just wondering if anyone has changed their door lock pin. I ordered aluminum ones and tried removing my factory ones by untwisting but didn't want to end up breaking them. Not sure if I have to take apart the door trim to do this.

I have wondered about this. I would go ahead and have someone take it off for you. I had a window repair shop replace my driver's window and the guy got the door off extremely quickly. You could probably go to a reputable shop and have them do the same. Super cheap.
