Curious as to why you are choosing a 45 profile tire and not 40. Seems like a lot more sidewall flex.

Maybe he meant 35. A 245/45 is way too tall.

You got that right, meant 35. Corrected original post so I don’t confuse anyone. Thanks to both of you for pointing it out!

This looks great. Can’t tell from the angle, is it stock suspension?

Yeah, stock adaptive suspension.

I’ve dropped it off today for an alignment and have Millway camber plates installed.

In the future I’d like to get Ohlins. Have had coilovers or springs on cars in the past and want to keep it relatively comfortable for now.

So few choices at 18x8 - thx Merlin, seems the Oz doesnt use a full flow form process, seems to be some issues with strength - street probably just fine like yours, but light track wouldn't be good IMO.

BBS (Flow Form) - I'd just step up and get custom BC Forged for $3,100 at that point !

I want the Titan-7 T-S5, but not available for FXX. Great forged wheel for $500. (most BMW configs)

Was looing at all the sizes they have for those Titan-7 T-S5.. Would the "BMW E8X 1SERIES 04-11: SIZE F:18X8.5 +44 R: 18X8.5 +44 non staggered setup work for our 2 series? ex. F22

Friend rec'd Titan-7 forged, but emailed them and have nada that will fit F22. If you want forged and solid deal, get the APEX 7 or 8 in group buy for $475/each.

https://www.gangup.com/apex/apex-18-...w-q2-2020.html

Here's Titan response:

Thank you for reaching out

At the moment, we are still a new company and are slowly expanding out our applications.

We only have M models @ the moment but will be looking to expand out in due time

Thank you for your consideration and patience

I was wondering the same thing. The specs for the 1 series 18x8.5s Et44 are fairly similar to what we can run in the 2 series.

*As I was typing this, Titan answered me and told me they do fit; so I placed an order on the spot, hopefully I’ll have them in a few days. I was also waiting for the apex group buy to close*

I was leaning Titanium (have MG) but need to figure out spacing etc. Love the wheel, worried I'd get an have to drop in Camber plates etc. I can order 5mm ECS spacers, worried it won't clear strut.

annnnddd they are out of stock for those.

My car is a mineral gray, so I ordered the last set Left in black 😂, that’s the reason I placed the ordered as soon as I was able to confirm with them.

Shit, I think I bought the last one in Titanium. They have a stockist of shops listed by states on their website. Maybe they have these in stock at another store? Can they make them to order if you contact them?

Very nice, they must have had one set in black they could confirm cause their website said sold out when I was looking at them yesterday. I have an Alpine White M235xi, titanium should be nice.

Why would you need to drop in camber plates etc? You have an M235i? I imagine these wheels at et44 and 8.5 will be a really good fit? Can even lower car and not rub I believe.. I will be pairing these wheels with some progressive springs from MSS.

I checked earlier today and the website said they were out of stock (Black version) so I contacted Titan through Instagram and they told they had 1 set left. he sent me the Direct link again and that’s when I placed the order immediately.

I think titanium should look really nice in white, At least that’s what I would get

Ok just talked to James (he answered the phone lol) and he said that was originally designed for the Civic Type R, and modified for 1 series but folks have run on 2 series.

They have zero left across country, the online inventory is for all Stockist. 60-90 days to make, flat $95 shipping fee.

and you guys ordered online with this config: BMW E8X 1SERIES 04-11: SIZE F ? below order:
