Log review

Hello,

Would someone be kind and check this log and comment how it looks?
I’ll do more logs, but will study this one first to try figure the different stuff.

Car is a M235i xdrive auto (EWG) on bootmod3 stage 2 93. Runs Shell v-power 98.
Mods are Wagner 300 CPI DP, Competition Evo 2 IC, upgraded charge pipe, aFe drop in filter and Xhp stage 3.

edit: Forgot to mention that plugs are stock with stock gap and about 20 000 kms on them.

Cheers!

It's the first time I'm checking a log, but as far as I can see there's no big issues?
Boost is close to target, timing looks clean and IAT is decreasing during the pull. Also no knocks detected which was my biggest worry.

I still need to read up on WGDC, STFT and lambda to understand those values, so if anyone has comments, please chime in

This might be one of the cleanest logs I've ever seen. Boost looks great, no timing corrections, etc. Super good.

You might have already seen this thread on the F30 forum, but I'll leave it here to help explain the other parameters

Yes, I’ve already read through it several times. Indeed a very helpful and informative thread.

Thanks for checking, dalderks.
Sadly the joy didn’t last. Filled up the tank at a different gas station today and logged again. Now I’ve got a knock and the timing is all over the place...

Perfect - definitely a good read!

Yeah, as you said, not nearly as good. It looks like you got quite a few -3 degrees corrections ( isn't the worst). It's probably worth getting a couple more logs just to make sure it wasn't an anomaly. If you see the same behavior you could switch gas stations or drop to the 91 oct tune. Out of curiosity, what station did you use?

Small addition: one thing that was more pronounced in this log than the first was the WGDC was pretty erratic above 6k rpms. This is pretty normal from what I've seen with BM3 since V7.1. I personally don't like it, but I don't know that it's an issue.

I used a small Shell station out in nowhere, not the ones I usually go to in Oslo.
I also logged before I filled up, had to go off throttle at around 5800 rpm, but it looks good: https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6085...729b334aea1c48

Will try to do some more logging tonight, and if issue is still there I can try to flash the 91 oct tune
