Having a hell of a time with the install in my 2020 m240i, specifically getting this clip off when pulling the the a/c and radio control:

The instructions from bimmer masterpieces mention using a small flathead to release the lock on the clip. I don't really see the lock and have tried poking at it from all angle with no luck. The videos above make it look like it pulls out easy, but I don't really want to just yank it. Pinch and pull did not work for me.

Anyone have any tips on this?

That is part of the m-performance trim kit. I purchased online through mount laurel bmw with their 20% sale last year.

Apparently they are only selling this for the coupe's set.. The convertible get the carbon fiber instead of alcantara
