Hey guys, thought the rusted washers was a bit off putting so I left them overnight in vinegar (which removed practically all rust), sanded them down, and are currently drying after a coat of rust protective enamel. Pretty simple but satisfying DIY

Hey guys, some of you have asked me for pictures showing wear. In all honesty this is the best I could come up with. There is no big crack on the forward facing coat, nasty marring, or deformation.

For me to obtain this picture I had to play with lighting and angles. A LOT. Carbon fiber does a really good job of hiding those miniature imperfections and swirls. At this point you're literally face to face with the cap.

Having said this, you won't notice walking around the car casually. It won't ruin the appearance of your car like a big scuff or dent on a wheel would.
