Did you get the 3 pedals (rest, brake and accel) or just the last 2?

So I went and got a 2016 m235i this last Saturday. Since then I've ordered, new kidney grills, floor mats, then today I ordered all the turbo piping and a fair. Pretty stoked on the car already.

Thermostat died today, so scheduled it another visit to the doctor.

Not sure if you still fall within the dates however, there is an extended warranty specifically for the thermostat on the N20 engines. Mine failed and was replaced for free, about 2-3 years ago.

Indeed it is still covered however, I'm thinking I want to replace the water pump as well preemptively. Probably just more cost effective to clear out the garage for a day and do it myself than pay dealer prices for a wp.

Agreed, how many miles do you have? I've been mulling over the idea of preemptively replacing mine as well. Currently at 69k.

I'd certainly like better sound than I've got and would have it upgraded if I thought there was someone local that could be relied upon to do a proper job both in terms of component selection and installation quality.

I'm right at 67k. In watching the guides from FCPEuro, I think I'll just do it myself - doesn't seem so difficult.

Oil change, spark plug and finally pulled the trigger on bm3 stage 2 directly from stock on acn91.. Gotta admit with everyone saying how much of a difference it makes, “night and day” .. I gave it too high an expectation and was kinda disappointed with the results.. Did a couple pull from 60+Mph on wot and wasnt that impressed with the power gain..

No issues. It’s recording away and I forget it’s there. The whole thing cost $90 on sale and $15 for the adapter thing. My biggest concern was issues with battery drain but the adapter works exactly as advertised and shuts off shortly after turning engine off.

Installed the Vivid Racing intake (I think they used to be aFe?) and I was worried I wouldn't be able to notice it, but now I'm worried it might be TOO loud! This thing is crazy ha. Sounds good, just way louder than any other intake I have had before, even with windows rolled up. Wasn't interested in any kind of performance gains (or losses) as that is a hotly debated topic. Looks sweet and fitment was perfect. Still deciding on whether I like the sound. It sounds incredible under full throttle when you want it to be loud. Little too whooshy under normal driving though, but might get used to it.
Looking at the picture now I'm realizing I should have rotated the cone so the little seam is out of view. Blast. #OCD

The car came with the S676 HiFi speaker system. I haven't changed anything.
