Hello all,

I am wondering if it is possible to activate the ASD (Active Sound Design) for F22 220D.

I am not sure if my car has that module, there is no engine sound setting in iDrive. I only know i have Harman Kardon speakers and non-nbt screen

I found a ASD amplifier (Harman/Becker) online which is for F30, i believe it will work with F22 too. But i am not sure if it is possible to use it with 2.0 Diesel N47 engines.

Any ideas?

The first step is to determine if your car has an amp in the left side of the trunk? You'll need the part # from that amp if it's there.

Sorry for very late response.

I checked the left side of the trunk and could not see anything. There is no even a empty space for putting amp in so I guess I will have to dig more with some BMW specialist.
