About to put my new Wagner EVO 2 preformace in, it's pretty heavy but way nicer than the stock unit. Can't wait to get it on the dyno!

Lots of trimming required. Mounted up good. 2 person job for sure. Right off the bat the car pulls harder and has a much nicer throttle response. Iats are staying around the 10c mark and don't go high or budge at all with a WOT pull. Iats drop considerably with half throttle pulls. Mind you it's still quite cold here in Ontario. Pulls through the gears with no sign of stopping. All in all, fantastic product! I wonder how the vrsf would match up with this one.

Actually yes. Was on ECS tuning last week looking at inter coolers as the stock unit has surely been over exhausted, my IATs were higher than a satellite when I'd get into boost.


I originally was gonna go with a VRSF 6.5inch unit as they were priced nicely and I heard good things about them, plus half the parts on this car are VRSF. As I was going through their listing I found this Wagner EVO II in their scratch and dent section. Knowing these intercoolers retail for something like $1300.00 Canadian this more than half off unit caught my eye.


There simply was a minor dent in the top of the unit and a few fins crushed, no Biggy. I asked support if it leaked boost at all and they said no. Caulked is a deal with ECS on some cheap shipping and I bought it instantly.


I have no idea if these are better than the VRSF unit, what I do know is they're quality units from Germany and I've only heard good things about them. If it wasn't for over $400.00 off I would have gone with the VRSF no doubt. So far I'm blown away by this unit as IATs barely go up anymore. Car pulls like a wild beast. Install was ok and the weight of this unit surely adds on to an already over weight auto x drive. BUT. I'm over the moon happy with this little steal

If you look in the first pictured, you can see a dent at the top of the intercooler on the right side. It was simply a damaged item that was never used. ECS tuning gave me a deal i couldn't pass up. Again i probably would never have spent this kind of money on an intercooler but this one was a steal!

Wagner is definitely top of the line FMIC nice pick up. I have VRSF 5 inch perfect fit, FMIC are well worth the investment.

What tune are you running? This intercooler weights about the same as a microwave 😂 super nice unit though. I've heard great things about Wagner! VRSF is really hard to beat in terms of intercooler preformace..
