Do we need to send our DME for initial flash?
Please explain Mike.
Lol, if this is true we'd be far better off going with the BM3.

Active website needs to be updated, ECU does not need to be removed.

We send you the cable and software.
you connect it to OBD and upload the map.
Nothing else is needed

Dyno from a customer.

Car mods: Catless Downpipe

Note: Car is using stock intercooler. Temps were going over 180 degrees on high RPM which caused the ECU to cut power.
A car with a quality aftermarket intercooler will make even more power on high RPM.

So you mention 'up to 80hp' gains. Was that with the catless downpipe?

Be interesting to just see a dyno with a stock vehicle on 91 octane, just so we can get an idea on the baseline improvement with the tune.

Looking at the dyno there is a 80 whp difference between stock tune (with DP) vs AA tune (with DP).

If you remove the DP from the baseline run the difference would be about 100 whp between AA stage 2 and completely stock car.

Stage 1 vs stock car about 80 whp

Here is my car with Simon3 putting out around 430+whp with 95 octane and stock cats @21psi. I did a strictly pump gas run and got 400whp

Do you by chance have a dyno of a bone stock M235 from that dyno? Conservative drivetrain loss would put you at nearly 490 crank HP. That sounds very high especially on the stock cat. Also, can they explain the curvy nature of the graph?

Right, that graph is concerning. I'd prefer a much smoother power delivery.

User is running a very aggressive setup with his mods.
Here is how the off the shelf dyno looks (stock intercooler)

Wheel spin and smoothing is set to medium, so I think that is why the graph looks odd. I'll try high smoothing like everyone else seems to be doing, and see how it looks.

I was asking for a stock graph from the same dyno that showed a tuned 430WHP graph so we could have a truer HP delta.

Is this a phone app or actual dyno graph?

Here is the app

I just got all of this done recently so I have not had time to get to the actual dyno. Once I get my DP installed on Saturday, I'll get the car on a dyno within a week or 2. The app is actually pretty awesome and from users, extremely accurate to a dyno with photos of both results next to each other. It's impressive.

Me too Mike! I swear this car has a stage 2 turbo that the previous owner left on after his lease was up. I'll find out today in a couple hours, how much boost the car actually is producing. Nic gave me a stage 1 update for the 3.5bar adapter which raises the boost target slightly. As long as the logs are within reasonable levels, it's all good with me. I still need to go to stage 2 with the DP and the car barely keeps the rubber down with the stock cat. Mike, you created a monster.

Attention Florida Customers: If you are local to Active Autowerke (9940 SW 168th Terrace, Miami, FL 33157), there is no need to purchase the Simon Cable. All you need to do is purchase the map from Extreme Power House and drive down to AA for a free install.

I look forward to third party dynos and some longterm user data with this product. It's certainly exciting to see all the options. My concern is longterm reliability in terms of CEL and support from AA. As we've all seen, Dinan and Burger have a tendency to claim "all cars are different" and more or less tell some owners to go pound sand when they can't figure out the issue. The things I'm talking about are issues that appear with the tuning devices and then disappear when it's removed. That would be incredibly frustrating.
