Uninstalled JB4 detected at dealer

Saw Mr. Dinan today. I can say I didn't realize I need it but now I'm firmly in the camp of I always need it now too!

Haha, I feel like I always need it. I do really wanna feel what's it's like with a jb4 in our cars. My old 135i was a small beast

It's a good change, it takes the car to a new level honestly, it's a great alternative if you dont want a backend flash or more expensive kits (Dinan) but if I had to do it all over again I would do Bootmod3

Thought my vert was plenty fast stock. But compared to my RWD coupe the xDrive drop top wasn't quite as quick. Had intended on going Stage 2 but after test driving a stage 1 vert they had there decided that was enough for now.

Just meant with the added oomph the car is awesome. Didn't realize how much I'd like it compared to stock. Have driven faster cars but never a 235 with Dinan.

I see. Nice, yeah sometimes I'll use the blue tooth app to compare it with stock.

the way bootmod3 works, its same as getting a flash.

You either need to send your DME to them, or to a tuner to crack, than you use the bootmod3 app to upload different maps. It also has logging and meters and does some other cool stuff.

The bonus to going bm3 vs. a basic flash tune is, you can now switch back to your stock map for service appts, than switch it back when you pickup the car.

Think of it as a Cobb tuner for the F series.
