What's the price?
Depends completely on your mods, fueling goals, and power targets, we, ACF, don't just throw an off the shelf tune on your ECU. We can either optimize what you have on your car now, or help build a package to bring you anywhere from your current performance levels up to nearly 700whp. Our stage 3 development turbos have already put down over 645WHP and we held(/hold, things move quickly these days) the WR for max N55 Pure Stage 2 WHP at 595WHP.

No, just buy the ER pipes from a sponsored vendor here who sells em at 10% off or get their FMIC while you're at it to save more cash. ER charge pipes are an essential mod for high power goals, I blew my stock pipe very early.

Quick update: Looks like I'm going with the ACF Tune instead of the Enzo. Been talking to cryptocar a lot and it looks like this would be the logical move for me. Will post a full review once I get it done, but I am real excited to get this in!

Please elaborate as to why you chose that tune over Enzo.

A few things:

1) Biggest factor for me - local. cryptocar is in Chicago, and that makes this whole process so much better for me (same day ECU removal, flash, install).

2) ACF has tuned hundreds of N55s, mostly outside of the US, considering they have not had presence in the states until now. They have also snagged a few WR for HP, so that's a pretty impressive feat. The knowledge around our cars just in talking to Alex has made me feel much more at ease knowing there aren't as many ACF tuned N55s stateside.

3) ACF just came out with a new ECU function that no other tuner has cracked yet, and this is a nice little added bonus on top of the other functions that they can unlock while flashing the car. I'll let cryptocar elaborate on this as I know this hasn't been fully publicized yet. Some of the other functions are: speed limiter removal, increase rev limiter, remove torque limiter, disable efficiency warnings for downpipes, etc.

4) The tune itself is more of a hands on approach. Understandably, Enzo has tuned dozens of F22s, so they have flashes already built for various mods, but ACF does it a bit differently. Its a bit more personal in the sense that they will look at your current/future planned mods, determine what style of driving you'll be doing, and a few additional factors before building the tune. You can't go wrong with the Enzo tune based on everything I've read, but I certainly appreciate the more one on one approach that ACF will be taking.

5) Price is comparable to Enzo, so nothing additional to report on there.

Can they reflash your car back to stock if you need some warranty work on your car?

Definitely. However, the nice thing about ECU flashes is that they fly under the radar. So unless you blow your motor, you should be good on routine dealer visits.

Hmm. I'm not sure about it. I think that each tune can be detected. But I'm definitely interested in tuning my ECU. Are you planning any dyno before and after the flash?

Well yes they can all be detected, but the dealer won't be digging in deep for non engine warranty work.

Working on scheduling it now, looking at the 22nd right now. No idea how long it'll take just yet, will be done same day though.

Great! Thanks for your answers.

I am going to order a DP and maybe charge pipe, too in 1-2 weeks. After that, I should be ready for the ECU tune.
The DP will make the biggest difference. If I upgrade an IC or intake in the future after tuning my car, it should not make too much difference and I think I will not need to update the ECU software, again.

Exactly. The DP is the biggest factor, you will love the gains on the DP alone.

I would love to dyno it, but I have tried finding an AWD dyno in Chicago but to no avail (at least not for just dyno runs). Any thoughts?

Also, not even sure the difference between the two flashes, what are they?

What about Komet. They have a Mustang Dyno and I think they are able to dyno also the AWD cars. I was there with my GTI a few years ago.

There's 2 dyno shops I've visited a couple times when tuning my car out in the western suburbs. If you want I can try to get us in not sure how busy they are in the summer I've always done winter dynos. Also if you want to take it out on a track I'm a member at the Autobahn and can take you out for a day of hot lapping on the track, no speed limits

Full flash he doesn't have a JB4 so we're gonna be controlling everything through the DME.

YES let's do it. While we schedule the tune, we can see about scheduling the dyno's you allude to as well. Would love to be able to see the gains!
