How exactly is the tune adaptive to E85 mixtures? I'd think a flash would be setup with A/F ratios and boost set based on basic 91 or 93 octane mixes. E85 will increase octane, which is surely good, but can also create a lean running car if things aren't adjusted accordingly. Or is that what you're using the JB4 with the flash for? I'm no expert, just trying to better understand all of this.

Thanks

Guys, just got my meth installed now looking to get custom tune on top of my JB4 and Pure Stage 2 or other upgrade. Spoke with Enzo, but wanted to ask you guys if you've any experience running the tunes and what kind of ET/MPHs you're trapping in the 1/4.

Thank you!

I've been running the jb4 Enzo stack with my pure stage 2 for around 5k miles now and love it, zero issues. I'm still on stock fueling so max boost I can target is around 17-18psi depending on type of fuel before I max out the hpfp. That being said my record is 11.83s/118, my highest trap speed was 120 with a slower time. With meth, pi or tbi you'll be much closer to maxing out the turbo and should get better times.

On the topic of aftermarket turbos, I heard there's a German manufacturer but forgot the name. I don't think it was BorgWarner or Bosch. So far I only know:

- Pure
- RB
- Vargas (Aka VT)

Any others?

Thanks!

$995 is much more enticing then $1400… may need to send you my ECU at some point here

Our tune with Pure S2/JB4 combo is a killer package. Luminous and ronanz cars are excellent.

Been running this combo for about 5k miles now and zero issues, car runs like a beast. 0-60 in 3.56s, 11.83s/118mph 1/4mile at only 17psi boost. Once I get some additional fueling I'll be able to max out the turbo for even better times.

Highly recommended!

Can't state it better than Luminous did...although I haven't tracked the car, I have absolutely ANNIHILATED a few Altima's who felt froggy. .

I'm thinking once Luminous goes in for the additional fueling upgrades, I'll do the same and send in the ECU!

TheTurboEngineers (TTE) maybe ? I've seen (on the internet) an M235i with a TTE450 turbo.

I have a question regarding your numbers. Just to be sure. Your stock numbers are without any aftermarket DP, CP, intake, etc. Right?
What mods did you have when you dynoed your car after the ECU tune?

Another forum member dynoed his car a few weeks ago (M235xi, Mustang dyno, catted Fabspeed DP, aftermarket CAI) and his numbers were 300WHP/307WTQ. I know that there were many variables affecting those numbers and Enzo tuning had more room to adjust everything knowing your modes but based on your dyno numbers it seems that his car gained ~35whp/24wtq just by adding catted DP/CAI.

A dp will get you about 20 whp, and intake will add like 5-10whp, fmic will add up to 20whp.

Enzo tuned here with a catted dp on 93 gas - 390whp /450tq on dynojet.

with e85, probably over 400.

^ Have you upgraded spark plugs, diverter valve, charge pipe, or any other parts before or after the tune?

Most people leave everything stock, add a DP and add the Tune.

Attached Dyno shows my car with Dinan FMIC and Intake with a catted Wagner DP.

1st run Enzo in crazy humidity and heatwave 88f.
2nd run Dinan stage 3 piggyback.
3rd run Enzo tune same day as dinan piggy testing.

Remember i have a catted dp from wagner + intake + FMIC.
Thanks. I'm slowly preparing my car for the ECU tune. I've already ordered a catted Fabspeed DP and ER CP. I just was not sure about upgrading a DV.

Edit: What's your max boost?
