I know the JB4 has autotuning, more features, etc. just don't want to deal with the install.

Thanks!
Never got any complaint from any customer using this tune with altitude

Can anyone help me with figuring out if its possible to get any kind of accurate boost readings from my P3 vent gauge once I go with the AFE scorcher tune?? I know our vehicles have this sport display and shows power and torque would that show any of the power output from the tune as well??

I would reccommend this to anyone in the market for this sort of thing.
Sounds very good!

silvrevo How are you liking the AFE scorcher??? Just wondering if you could leave some words on your overall impression on power and delivery.

Just installed the aFe Scorcher on my GFs M235ix Convertible along with a Sprint Booster. VERY impressed! Totally transformed the car. Almost feels as fast as my Turner tuned F80! Install is a snap, hiding wires is a tad more time consuming, but if you want a factory-like look, it's worth the extra time.

I like it alot,,, tons of tq around 3k any gear, it just scoots.

I did notice the other day after a normal drive, about 90 degrees out, I poped the hood to show someone, and touched the afe box i have mounted on the front of the wheel well, and man it was smoking HOTT! couldnt touch it, and it was as hot as the oil filter housing touch wise.

I wonder if this is normal? Im chaulking it up to all the heat under the hood soaking the afe box.

Otherwise it pulls really nice, but a few times around 4-5k it dosnt seem as fast? I have had it on for a few months now. AC always full blast and the temps have been around 90 outside.

I just wonder where this would be power wise to a Dinan stg2?

I also have the afe intake. The open magnum intake didnt fit well at all, the convert has cross bars under the hood. And even with these off, the top of the filter was hitting my hood. I now have a dented up hood on the outside from me banging it shut several times. Very thin alloy right where i was pressing. o well

The momentum intake fits 100% better, sound isnt as loud as the magnum thou,,, which I did really like.

I wouldnt mind trying out the Dinan 2 and throw in a catted DP.

All in all its a neat set up. Took me a while and several videos on just how to unplug those connectors!

I would say go ahead and order it!

If I am reading this chart right, it only adds a little over 10 hp. Is that right? If so, it doesn't seem worth the money for that small of a gain.

34 wtq increase makes a big difference.

the AFE tune is one of the more conservative options, if you want more power consider getting JB stage 1 or the A8

Thanks for the suggestions. Is dinan also considered to be more on the conservative side?
