No apologies, please!

1) This is a good thing, as you can get Sunset and can't get Valencia now.
2) I would definitely get Sunset Orange on a new 2, too!
3) This is about as subjective as it gets...no regrets if we like different flavors of ice cream either!

As noted, I just thought having almost the same shot comparing two oranges would be interesting, and it wouldn't quite be like comparing apples and oranges!

Forgetting the VO vs SO debate, having any orange as an option on the bigger engine model is a good thing. I always thought it was one of the best looks for the car and it was restricted to the 4-cyl before.

Yup those are the optional adaptive LED lights and they are amazing

Agreed, a lot of the promotional photos, brochures etc here in the UK showed it in sunset. And when I saw one in the flesh at a dealer in sunset orange it just sold it to me (I wasn’t even looking for a new car, I was shopping with a mate who wanted one) 3 months later and I took delivery of one 😀
Was truly an impulse buy and I love it. (Apart From the condensation issues in the headlights and yesterday I had condensation in the little camera compartment on the windscreen which threw up a message on the idrive, but hey, that’s a different story)

Did the dealer tell you ahead of time the grills would be black? BMWUSA.com shows you the option of black grills, implying (to me) that normal silver grills are standard.

Yes you are correct, silver is standard but replacing with blackened grills is just a matter of how you build it. I like mine with blackened grill even when I initially had some doubts. The sales advisor can help you with adding it and also making it residualized if your into leasing
