This video is from the Northstar BMW Sommer Schnell event at Brainerd International Raceway last weekend. It's from the last session on the first day.

Not my fastest laps, although the last lap is within 0.6 of my fastest laps on day 2. I like this group of laps though because I'm chasing a nice track prepped E36 with an S54 swap. He's pulling away on the straights, but I'm almost sticking with him using turbo torque in the slower sections.

I don't have the track chops of dradernh or msendit , but I don't think I'm doing too badly. Especially considering my car is completely stock except for track pads and some old worn 225 RS-4's. And it was really hot. 90+. That was definitely affecting my acceleration compared to past events.

This is the 'short' Competition course. I've also done the long Donnybrooke course, which uses the long drag strip straight and an awesome fast banked corner. Frankly, the short course is more fun, with more tricky turns. Wish Brainerd had some elevation change, but other than that it's a fun course.

That looks like a fun layout, and it's nice you had pretty much unencumbered laps so you could establish a rhythm. Thanks for posting!
