Weird door popping

So my right door has had some popping come into play. Anyone have similar problems on the f22? I haven't really checked thoroughly what it is. I will upload a video later today (it's like 3am rn lol) just hoping it's nothing that's gonna cost me a trip to a service shop and a dent in my wallet.

2015 235 after a few years my drivers door one of the hinge bolts fell out. They are inserted bolt head facing down and I found one stuck on the edge of the sill.
I don’t recall what made me inspect or if I heard any popping.
Tightened all my bolts and never occurred again.

It is a metric 6-point E-Torx.

Just had my 2018 M240 serviced with this issue. I pull into the service bay and before I even say ‘good morning’ the guy has noted the clicking/popping noise as I opened my door. Says he sees this problem frequently on Minis but not so much 2 series.

You can see either the hinge has moved or the metal has flexed.

I had this on a Land rover, cracked and popped when opening and closing door. New bolt sorted it out.
