They do have some sub-$100 ones (for the pair) that I thought about getting on AliExpress. Quality seems decent from the reviews, and could always rewrap if necessary. At least that's what I tell myself...

Thought about trading it for a station wagon I drove on Saturday that was life changing paradigm shifting good. Only issue is I'd need to trade the 2er and come up with $100k.

Thought about how fun this car is even in the rain. Then thought I'd better settle down since I am getting close to the wear bars on the tires. That led into whether I want to go with the Michelin PSS or switch over to Continentals for a little bit of savings.

I do occasionally think about getting the new Rolls Royce SUV, but it would not be as much fun to drive as my 2'er.

To M5 or not to M5 and when? Do I want to pay the taxes on the 228 when I M5 or should I trade in and maybe get an M6GC? Who knows? The window tint is nice now though.

I like the Continental Extreme Sports quite a bit.

265 tires for the back, the 245s plus DCS off ediff just make the car squirrely in 2nd and 3rd gear with FBO and Bootmod3 Stage 2.

Agreed. My beater car is a 1995 Honda Accord wagon. I miss the E30 wagons, RS6 Avant's, E60M5 wagons in Germany.
