Thank you for your observation! We'll take that as a compliment. We strive to create an intake that offers comparable performance to well-known brands like MST, but at a more affordable price point (in this case, half the cost of the MST).
This way, our customers can enjoy excellent value without sacrificing quality.

I had the MST intake for a few months. The product looked great and made the car sound great. But, when outside air temps were 70 Fahrenheit or more, I experienced much higher intake air temps and less performance vs the stock airbox. FYI.

I understand your experience with the MST intake, but I must disagree with your results. This topic has been discussed numerous times on this forum. However, I don't want to delve into further detail and risk derailing this thread into a debate about which intake is superior, as there are already plenty of discussions on that matter. If possible, I'd like to keep this thread focused solely on the MAD intake release.
I encourage you to share your results in threads specifically dedicated to that conversation, as your input could spark an interesting discussion and provide valuable insights to the community.

I would say.. regardless of the origins of this intake, it's a good one. This design is a proven winner and customer support should be decent. I havent looked at the price yet but it might be worth paying a few bucks over the Chinese branded intake to have a US based customer service etc. If I didn't have an intake already I would have one of these..

Picking up a bit on JMcLellan' point. I would be interested in the gains made by the aftermarket vs stock with particular emphasis on what, if any, impact the use of metal structure has on IAT due to heat soak----net impact (power gain or loss).

It's a fairly short metal intake. The Heat generated will be fairly negligible.

Pretty much zero other than at idle and even then after 20 seconds it doesn't matter what intake you have, heat soak is real.

Do you have any dyno compares Stock airbox and your CAI, re: the 15hp gain? I would be particularly interested in the Ambient temperatures during the runs. I live in Florida where we will typically be 80-90 degrees close to year round. I know from monitoring the IATs that there is a significant impact on IAT because of this.
