What kind of mileage are you guys getting to a tank? I recently got 451 miles on a tank on a recent trip. I hand calculated my mpgs at 35.5 while my trip computer said 37.6 mpgs.
Just curious on other people are getting, thanks! I have a 2015 228i xdrive btw |

25.1 is my average MPG. I do quite a bit of city driving, in Comfort or Eco Pro mode. 2018 230i. If I take a road trip, I can get into the 30s.

How the heck did you get 451 miles on a tank? My last longish trip, I got about 450km before the light came on. Granted, I was going an average of 130kmh (80mph) with ac on and about 50km of it was city driving.

I was doing about 70-75mph with some bits over 80 mph all in eco pro while using cruise control off and on. It was probably 80% highway and 20% city during that tank.

That's pretty dang good. I drive in Sport 99% of the time, even on the long highway jaunts. Long trips I get about 35.4MPG and in town average stays around 26.7.

Went from Orlando to north Atlanta to see my dad in the hospital. 440 miles at average speed of 84.7 mph and got 35.5 mpg.

Long Trips: Socal to Norcal, I've gotten about 450 in comfort mostly cruise control with sporadic "spirited" driving
Regular/Daily: I'm getting like 380 again mostly comfort with occasional sports at 75% highway driving (comfort on highways) I hardly ever go into eco-pro |

I average about 10.5L per 100km (about 23mpg) on my 230. I do lots of city and traffic everyday and when not in traffic I drive often in sports mode. Still better than my about 15mpg on my FBO 335xi I had before ...

Highway driving on cruise/eco I can get above 34. I think many of the highest quotes on here are the instantaneous readings, not full trip numbers, but that's a guess - if you zero the computer while underway it gives much better #s. I try to remember to put eco on for long cruise controls, since you don't notice it - by my numbers it does actually ad about 5% beyond comfort. That said, I think I'm subconsciously blocking - I probably only remember this 1 in 5 trips on the highway. And I freak myself out when I stop for tolls or s/t and the engine shuts down (eco puts it into stop-engine mode). My car actually likes the mountain twisties almost as much, usually right around 30 (sport mode here).
