paddle shifting

My M235 is my first auto tranny.
I have (driven) hundreds of hours on a F1 game using the paddle shifters..
Am I doing any harm to my transmission by always shifting it manually?

No, the car will protect itself. But I have found that the Sport and Sport+ programs shift just as well if not better than I can manually.

Have fun!

I agree that I can't beat the trans at speed.
I was talking about just everyday use.

Increased engagement from using the paddles, a little bit more fun on the street.

For the track, I think extenders would be worthwhile, stock paddles are a little stubby.

Looking into options like the ones from Nelson Racing Wheel.
