What did you think about in your 2 series today?

Range anywhere from wish list of upgrades to the physics/aerodynamics of loose car parts to submarine-capable BMWs to forgetting you were supposed to pick your kid up at school today.

Mine was that they could've fit the HUD in this car if they really wanted to, I would've sprung for it. Not really a fan of the aftermarket options

Is the M Sport bumpers and side skirt conversion really going to be worth the hassle and money?

About how nice the weather was for once then about how annoying it is that my charge pipe popped a min later.

That the wheel reupholstery and upgraded paddles really made a huge difference to the driving experience. And that I wish this f*cking rain would stop.

How much did that run if you don’t mind the asking? I scarred my wheel up something fierce with my wedding ring and hate it.

I know BEM-S4 got a legit job done, but I got a wrap off of AliExpress (they have on Amazon too) that I like a lot for $50

The wheel is dependent upon materials design etc. mine ran $500 including shipping there and back - but I think I probably did the most expensive options short of choosing virgin unicorn leather. Still less than BMW OEM upgrades and the materials and workmanship are light years better.

You'd have to check with Donald but I think if you wanted alcantara it's less, not mixing materials less, etc.

Yes, and if you're not DIY or OCD inclined Coby will do a pro alcantara wrap for you for like $200. Dallas is a full redo not a cover.

That this car is so well setup in stock setup.

And keeping a car all stock is never a popular position in online forums. Everyone is here to learn how to mod/change the car.

Cheers

Totally agree on the handling and suspension aspect- I often get home and go “ man this car is good” I did a track day and really grew to absolutely love it. Power wise I like the crazy lag with huge surge e85 and meth give.

I realized I could tell the difference in ride and feel between the run-flat winter tires and the summer tires. and I thought how much I like the top down. and that while maybe RWD would be tricksier than AWD I'm perfectly happy with the AWD, which pulls marvelously through the roundabouts.

Thinking about how I want my exhaust tips to be, either chrome or stainless and flush mount bumper, and what my next upgrade to be... wheels, or iDrive 6.0 with CarPlay?

I thought about how even after dumping 3k into the sound system, I had the stereo cranked up to about 3 notches before max to finally get the sound level close to what I wanted

I don't usually listen to it that loud but when I want it blaring loud, I want it blaring loud lol

About how loud the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires are and how hot Scarlet Johansson is, while I watched Red Sparrow on my Bimmercode hacked dvd screen.

That the center arm rest is perfect height for me (6'2" seat all the way down) in my MT, contrary to popular opinion in the thread (was it here or the M2 forum?)

I’m thinking how quiet this car is stock and I can’t wait until my Remus exhaust and midpipe get here.
