"Our long national nightmare is over." Picked-up car this morning!!!! 2.5 weeks late but none the worse for wear.

BasilUf, I think you said you were getting yours any day as well.
Five3three, did you get yours yet?

My dealer (BMW of Fort Myers) was nice enough to leave some goodies in the car which was an unexpected touch of generosity. Two mugs, two hats, an umbrella and key chain.

Now the modding begins. I hope everyone's deliveries go smoothly.

Mine made it from port in New York to dealer in Charlotte in exactly 10 days. It arrived yesterday, though I can't get down there to pick it up until Friday. CANNOT wait.

What dealership in Charlotte did you order from?

Why so far away? Did they give you a good deal? I ended up at Hendrick at Northlake.

Indeed, i emailed a bunch of dealers along the east coast, they gave me the best deal.

I've heard good things about Hendrick at Northlake too.

Congrats again. Finally! What mods are you planning?

I may end up taking delivery later this week. It seems as though I didn't have any delays at port.

It's interesting the way some of these East coast cars have been routed.

For me I got NY but really should have had Baltimore. For you, you should have had somewhere way closer than NY to go to NC.

Mods for me will be modest:
Spacers
Black grilles
Tint
Pedals
Coding
Body color reflectors
Replace amber turn bulbs
Perhaps a front sway bar when they come to market
Best of all, no need to buy PSS!

Mine was a weird situation - the car was originally going to a dealer in CT, but itwas very close to a build of mine that had fallen through for lack of allocation, so the dealer traded for it too late to reroute it into a different port.
