I just found out that my car will be on the INDEPENDENCE II leaving 06/24/2014 arriving 07/14/2014. Not sure how long it will take to get to PCD in SC but it's exciting to know which ship it will be on
Be sure to post picks of all the mods you're going to add on yours.
Thanks, and congrats to you as well! Pretty cool you did ED and will be doing PCD as well. I just started a new job so I don't really have any PTO built up, otherwise I would've done exactly the same. Estoril Blue is such an awesome color, The E36 M3 in that color used to be my dream car when I was a bit younger. I'll definitely be posting pictures of the car and will keep up with them as I mod the car. I'm pretty excited to already have a couple things to do to it when it arrives.

Ah yes, pretty much the only advantage to living on the East Coast is the much quicker delivery time. I travel to CA fairly often for work, and you guys definitely have us beat with the weather!

I got the grilles and mirror caps from getbwmparts.com. They're operated by BMW of Silver Spring Md, I believe so I got them in about 2 days and they shipped for free. I didn't really shop around, but the prices seemed pretty good compared to the BMW site.

Congrats again on your car, I'm excited to see it!

-PS- A White 996 911 turbo with red interior just went up for sale in my neighborhood. My patience is really being tested with this BMW haha! It can't hurt just to go look, right?

If they mess up your order at getbmwparts, I know exactly who to blame. I know the whole crew there haha.

Anyways, I'm excited for you! haha

ok you had me at the red interior, you should def take a look. but just rememebr how much it would cost to fix if anything went wrong. Not sure what the warranty coverage is on a porche but i assume its as good as bmw maybe better.

Any one know, how long does it take for our vehicles to get transported to the port of exit in Bremerhaven.

Also at what time can I use the vehicle VIN # to determine in which vessel is my M235i being transported to the USA.

I called the 800 line yesterday and was told that they'd probably know vessel by Monday so to call back then.

The extended coral looks great on that car. I wonder why the sportlines get cool stitching and accents.

Whoops. Found a 911 Turbo. I knew eventually I'd work my way into one of these. I kept looking at them while waiting for my car to be built. I ended up finding this one in NY and couldn't resist. I had the M235i released from me and got my deposit back on Thursday, got the pricing haggled down to a point where I felt like it was worth the trip and went to Purchase today. 2002 911 turbo, 35k miles, sport seats, CF trim throughout. The M235i would've been a great fun car, but there really is no substitute, and once I test drove one a few weeks ago, I was hooked. Til next time 2addicts.

PS. BMW of Sterling will soon be listing an EB M235i with tech, HK, Driver assist, black leather, 6MT, Premium Package, Alarm if anyone local is trying to pick up a 2014 still and take advantage of the $1k incentive. Word of warning, they're a$$holes to deal with, even before I decided to cancel so buyers beware.

Can you post pricing on your car, did you get it for MSRP, Invoice?

I was going to get it for 3% off MSRP. So $51,400 - $1,000 incentive - $1,542 discount off MSRP = $48,858 + taxes and fees. Not the worst price for the car, but the fees and lease rate .0017 MF was pretty crappy.

Thanks! I'm sure you'll be more than pleased with the M235i. Actually, I'm sure I would've too. But I knew going into it that I'd be turning it back in after 3 years so I figured why wait?

Well, you never know. They may be motivated to get it sold, but I know they are only showing 1 other M235i in their inventory so they may try to play the "this is a rare car" card and sell it for top dollar. They told me the only reason they gave me the deposit back is because they can make more money off it selling to someone else so like I said, buyers beware.
