By the way, I checked NYK's schedules and there's a ship going out on the 13th this month and your car could be on that ship. You should call the 800# next Monday and they'll probably let you know.

My 228i arrived at Bremerhaven today, so I'm in line at the POE just like the rest of y'all.

According to NYK, looks like there are two ships this week: one on the 11th (to Galveston) and the 12th (to Baltimore). Texas deliveries almost always come through one of those two ports. Time from departure to cargo available is about five days quicker at Galveston port (it turns around cargo in a day; Baltimore takes five!?!?). Man, I hope my car's on the first boat ...

Otherwise: add a week. Looks like there's a ship a week to each U.S. port of entry from Bremerhaven, at least through NYK.

Correction: Did a little quick research and found this trade article from this past May:
Automotive Logistics

It indicates that BMW only uses four ports of entry for U.S. vehicles: New Jersey; Baltimore; Brunswick, Ga; and Hueneme, Ca., and that WWL is pretty much the exclusive shipper:

So ... to Baltimore: two boats tomorrow, another on the 14th, and another on the 16th. To Brunswick: one boat each tomorrow, the 12th, the 16th, and the 17th. I figure the NJ and Cali ports have similar 3-to 4-boat-a-week schedules (and I'm willing to bet that the Brunswick boats are mostly PCD cars and parts for S.C. manufacture.)

My 235 is on the vessel California Highway which left Baltimore on the 10th due in Brunswick, GA on the 12th. Currently of the coast of SC. I'm in So Cal but taking delivery @ BMW Performance Center in SC then a road/business trip back to So Cal. Please tell your car not to park to close to m,one on the ship.

Ours is on the Oregon Highway which was in the UK last time I checked. I've already pressed my ordering dealership to push for as early as possible PCD. I have a few options that will installed when it gets to stateside port.
