Replacing RFT with non-RFT

Hi all,

I own a m240i with R18 RFTs. I was wondering if I could replace the RFT with non-RFT and just buy a flat tyre kit in case of a puncture.
I guess that if I buy tyres with the same specs there shouldnt be any problem; my only concern is regarding TPM sensors and the flat tyre kit.... but I think that the flat tyre indicator works with the ABS sensor, theres not any internal sensor within the tyre.

What do you think?

Thanks

Hi,

You can replace them to problem. TPMS is separate and works foe RFT and go-flat tires Then you just have to get a flat tire kit similar to what BMW gives you when yoy buy a non RFT car.
