Usually OEM CarPlay only takes up the left 2/3 of the screen.

I did it myself got one off amazon! Install wasn't fun but so far so good!

Has anyone replaced this out of warranty themselves? What price did you pay?

I just bought a 2016 228i convertible and it has the smallest of bubble at the bottom right.

I'm seeing some on eBay for around $400-500.

Finding a replacement for mine (2015 M235i) has been a headache and a half. I managed to locate a 100% perfect condition screen; only to find that apparently something changed in the less than a year model difference between my original screen and the one I purchased. Leaving me with a perfect screen, that does not work at all. I just get "no signal" on the screen.

If anyone has any sources for securing one of these screens for less than dealer price (roughly $2000) I would greatly appreciate it.
