Can only hear this sound when driving. The sound comes when above 2000rpm. It is that cat like sound, around 0:40 and 1:57. There are some in between too. Is there something wrong? 3 to 5k rpm, 2 to 4th gear. It is an automatic. Outdoor temp about -3deg.C Calgary, Canada |

Only thing I hear that sounds odd is around 47seconds. Everything else sounds normal to me. Hard to hear anything other than the blinker >.<

Hmm...played it again. Couldn't hear it. No idea what that sound could be.
EDIT: listened to your 2nd vid and still can't hear anything out of the ordinary.

Always a good idea. Videos hardly do any justice when trying to diagnose a sounds/noise. Same thing when comparing exhaust. There's just to many variables that can distort things like the speakers that it's being played on, the mic used to record, audio codex used, etc.

I think you're hearing the active sound honestly. I think I hear what you're referring to and mine does the same. It's the active sound, basically the fake exhaust they play threw the speakers. If you have the HK system then disconnect the center speaker and see if that fixes it.

It is the blinker signal effect. Don't you ever go online and read about this? You aren't ever supposed to use those turn signal thingies, or something real bad will happen (apparently auditory hallucinations set in - sounds fine to me).

Did they replace the Alternator? Or was it just loose/ out of alignment..
Strange issue for these cars, pretty rare IMO
