Been lurking a few days and trying to learn what wheels and tires I should get for the summer. Based on a few of the other threads ive read, I think a square setup works best for me considering I have xdrive. Of course, Id like wider wheels/tires.

I am really liking the style of these Enkei TY5s in either gloss black or ghost black. So, my question is, for my 2017 M240ix with stock suspension, would an 18x8.5 ET38 be the best fit to run PS4S 245/35-18 square? Would it work at all? Enkei offers a 42 and 45 offset as well. Also possible to go 18x8ET40.

Can't really chime in on best fit but I can say damn, that style looks sick.

Ok so a little bit more fiddling around on willtheyfit and Ive determined a 45 offset is best, and then use a 5mm spacer in the front. Apex still recommends 1.5 degree camber, but i think i can get away without it on stock suspension. Or is there an easy way to get 1.5 degrees front camber on an xdrive? cause I havent found any reading the forums.

While I would like to go lower, I live downtown in a west coast city, so there are lots of steep curves that im pretty sure i would bottom out on.

I run 245/40/18 Falken 615+ on 18x8" wheels (42mm); no spacers and stock suspension. I can try to take some pictures.

There was a thread on here that 45mm may be the limit for 245/40/18 PS4s on 18x8; not sure about 18x8.5 though.

If your car is not lowered, 40mm (your 45 with 5mm spacer) is perfect.

45mm the tires will be almost touching the suspension. 38-41 is the perfect offset. You get away with less if your car is lowered, but get more back with the proper alignment.
