My CA told me he has a 230i vert allocation for June available. Haven't payed much attention to these so I decided to look at inventory. I suppose it's probably good for someone who is looking for one.

My wife has been contacted for her 2019 230iX vert. Pretty good trade in offers but if convertibles are hard to get they will be pricey. Will there be a shortage of the 230i convertible or is it just the M series that is hard to find?

With production ending in a month, I'd say they are hard to find. Dealers have plenty of 2GC but the coupes and convertibles, I haven't seen in a long time

I ordered in January and waited for the allocation to come in. Took about 4 weeks for confirmation and the process has been slow but I got notified this week that build is complete abs she is on the boat! Matter of weeks now.

But yes, I think it's getting few and far between.

I advise going with the 240. You will appreciate those 2 extra cylinders over the long term.
