JB4 on 2021 M240

So since we cant do an ECU flash I just installed my JB4 last week and been running some different maps. Started off with Map3 which is pretty good pulls hard throw you back in your seat. I decided to do an E30 blend and run map5 today. Filled up 6 gallons on 93 and 4 gallons of E85, after calculating that was the closest I got to E30…it was around E31 give or take. What a god damn beast!!!! This has transformed this car into something out of this world….pulls are so hard and smooth tons of power. From a stand still your sucked into your seat until you let go of the gas….need some better head rest to support the throw back lol. So far so good running this….anyone on here have the same results?

Gonna be following this - finally got mine from the factory on March 3 (after a slow 7 months) and am essentially FBO (I think? No turbo or WMI) sans a tune.

AFAIK the JB4 is our only option as of yet right? I think I remember seeing Turner offer something around late november or december that was similar to JB4 but seemed like no one knew what it was and now I can't even find it on their site.

Yup the best piggyback now is JB4, it works very well but the ECU tune is always better. you can start with Map3 then start mixing some E85 and move the map5. take some datalogs and send it off to terry at BMS just to double check some things. but so far so good, kicking ass on the road...so many people tailgate me when they stop next to me i say dude im tuned so it wouldn't be worth it lol

I though E20 was the most you could run on the stock fuel pump. MHD told me to stick to that ratio and run their 95 octane tune when I had my 2019 M240i. I am running 2 gallons of E85 with ACN 91 pump on the stock tune right now. Our premium pump gas is over $4/gallon and our e85 is under $3/gallon, so, I would like to run more e85. Are you seeing any fuel pressure crashes in your logs?

E30 or E50 is what the JB4 calls for. makes a big difference, so i ran 6 gallons of 93 and 4 gallons of E85, so far my logs have been clean did some easy runs, WOT run and merging on the highway. So far so good, i also have the latest firmware on the JB4 that fixed a lot of issues. you still have to 2?

I have not measured my e85 at the pump. I do not know if your pump gas matters that much when you are running an ethanol map. 4 gallons of e85 and 6 gallons regular is still an e30 mix?

yup i used the calculator and had the e85 test kit with the water level it was rated at 79% so i just rounded off to 80. also i had 1/4 tank 93 left so i had to factor in that. this weekend ill drive it until i get to 5 miles left and do a fill up to E30 and post the gallons i got

E40 is the sweet spot for my car tired a lot of mixes and sent them off to Terry and E40 gave me the best results was at 23.1 psi with that mix.
