Aluminum vs Steel Wheel Spacers

Hi everyone,

I'm fitting 18x9.5 +45 on 255/35 square on my M240i and I'm going to be using anywhere from a 15mm to 20mm spacer for the front wheels.

So far I'm between Turner Motorsport aluminum spacers and Rogue Engineering aluminum spacers. I know these are fine wheel spacers but I'm curious if anyone here knows of any good hub-centric steel spacers made in 5x120.

Thanks!

Here's a pic of the wheels and my car.

What gave you the impression those wheels are going to fit on the front?

Hahaha yeah I was definitely off the goomies when I purchased these.

In all seriousness, these wheels fit. Need to take some photos when the tires arrive. I might have to mold the fender liner.

Front:
-18mm unknown brand aluminum spacer from friend's E92 M3
-Ohlin R&T Coilovers with shortened springs
-Fender roll, slight pull (~1/4")
-Negative 2.8* Camber, 1/16" Toe Out

Rear:
-Fender roll
-Negative 2.2* Camber, 1/8" Toe in

Back to the matter at hand, does anyone in this forum know of decent steel spacers to consider? So far I think the Turner or Rogue spacers are my best bet for aluminum.

Greetings from Facebook. Why would you want to go with steel spacers? All the spacers I know of are aluminum. The hats on the the oem rotors are aluminum as well. Rogue Engineering is a great company.

Aluminum does the job fine and it's lighter.

Long story but I actually tried to find a steel spacer since I wanted a heavier one and they were next to impossible to source. Bespoke was the only option I could find.

Did not know the hats were aluminum, if that's the case I'll purchase some aluminum spacers.

I ended up finding a few companies that makes custom steel spacers that come in around the same price as a pair Rogue Engineering aluminum spacers.

Thanks for the help everyone who helped. All you other boomers who can't wrap your heads around fitments not cataloged by Apex go kick rocks.
