Vorshlag camber plate torque settings and strut compatibility

I noticed a lot of clunking sounds on the front of my car and I checked everything for it. I just found out that my camber plate hex bolts were a bit loose and the camber was self adjusting a little as I drove.

What are you supposed to torque the hex bolts up to? They seem to be getting loose for some reason. I just hand tightened them but obvious they need to be torqued to more than just 'tight'. At the moment the camber plate mount is on the very edge when I swear it was somewhere in the middle before. I can't find the torque specs anywhere.

I am also in need of a strut refresh. Does anyone know what strut+spring combo would be best for the vorshlag OEM type? I do 10-20 track days/year so I need something with performance. Cant do coilovers or else I will need to go through some super strict inspections which costs $1000, and Im just not willing to go through that bs

Thanks in advance, I'll send an email to Vorshlag come Monday and report back to you guys, but I want to just get some initial information from the more experienced members of the forum so I can do something about it as soon as possible.

Just got an answer from Vorshlag:
The 4 cap screws for camber adjustment: 18ftlb
The 3 or 5 perimeter nuts: 18ftlb
The M22 Strut tower nute: 30ftlb

Strut compatibility
Works with Bilstein B16s directly.
For other struts like Koni, etc, you need to buy some spacers/nuts which cost around $35.

Hand tight is probably a lot tighter than their specs, might want to add some thread lock to the bolts if that isn't working.

Thanks for posting this - very helpful. The Vorshlag video says to use an impact driver to tighten the tower nut. Have to say I was not a fan of this, but still used my Milwaukee 2962 in the 'bolt mode' which limits torque to around 35 ft-lbs. So glad to see the actual number recommended!

So curious how noisy your plates are now. Mine are quiet mostly, but there is dull clunking when going over rough bumps. At one point I had a loose strut nut, and the noise was sharper and quite loud. I certainly expect more NVH with the Vorshlags and poly bushings but curious what others experience is.

I also noticed a clunk from LF after installing vorshlag. I've checked everything and replaced my struts and still clunks. Once I get the LCA upgrade done I'll know for sure if it's the plates or if I have a bad control arm.

Might just be race car noises tbh but I'll know soon.
