"Payscale" shows the average wage at Best Buy is around $12-$16 an hour.
Though I've never shopped there personally, I can't imagine their employee parking holding that many BMW's. How about checking Sprint's and BB's customer service? I don't think you'll find your answers here....just my thoughts. |

What's the specific issue? I got my S8 from Best Buy and have Sprint as my carrier.

The question about Sprint is this, are they opening new Sprint accounts or the new ones are actually Tmobile? And why is only 1 plan available, can I switch to Tmobile Magenta Plus as soon as I activate line in Best Buy?

I'd imagine all new accounts are going to t-mobile. They're closing all the Sprint stores, and even the website redirects to t-mobile now.

On top of that, you can find 15-20 year old 2 and 3 series for not a lot of money these days. Let's not live up to the "rich assholes" stereotype, K? |

Ok. Ughh. That's tough. I've received some communications from Sprint about the merger but it's been generic. No specific statements as to what happens going forward just the general everything will be great marketing. It'll be interesting as Sprint is on CDMA and I would assume there will be forced transition to GSM at some point.
I have noticed better coverage since everything went official. |

Thats what Sprint told me, but Best Buy said it will be Sprint specific account and I cannot switch to Tmobile plan. I also don't get it, if the company is now Tmobile, Sprint stores and website are all dead, all new accounts are Tmobile, then why they are selling Tmobile phones and Sprint branded phones of new devices? And moreover, I cannot buy Tmobile phones at Best Buy, they are only selling Sprint.

For anyone who hasn't been keeping up, every cell carrier in the USA (and most everywhere else) has announced sunset dates on 3G and non-LTE service in the next year or so. I don't know what the newer cars use for telematics, but I know that my BMW's "NBT" thing is 3G and will surely be a paperweight in the near future.....

Actually BBY pays their management handsomely. I had a recruiter target me and I was definitely surprised at what the compensation package was (six figures). The crappy part though is you're working retail so at least one weekend day, plus Black Friday, December 26, etc..

iirc sprint and tmobile use different networks, so your sprint phones may or may not work on tmobile networks and vice versa. looks like you can still activate sprint plans in some areas, but eventually phase out. your sprint plan will automatically transfer to tmobile, but since its different networks, you wont be able to switch between the 2 without a new phone. edit: tmobile site says sprint phones will stay on sprint network (under the tmobile name) and tmobile phones will continue to operate on tmobile networks. Also says sprint customers can upgrade their sprint plans to other sprint plans, but you arent able to get a tmobile plan with your sprint phones.
