Have you noticed brakes quite loud when coming to full stop from very low speed, or when stopped and easing up on pedal? Most pads do this but I find these quite loud.

Just bought some EBC – REDSTUFF CERAMIC BRAKE PADS for both my M235i and 125i M Sports. Will post my review once I've installed and tested them.

The fronts are really straightforward. Use a punch and a rubber/plastic mallet to knock out the two retaining pins (remember which way you knocked them out so you put them back correctly), and gently tug the pads until they come out. If they are too new you may have to spread the pistons using a flat blade screwdriver or the other tool posted in this thread.

Rears probably have the X slotted pistons due to safety regulations with parking brakes. For those style pistons you have to screw them back into the caliper body using various tools (i have a cube that attaches to a 1/2" socket driver that i use) and be careful not to tear the dust boot. It should take about an hour to do it your first time (less going forward). If you can't find any BMW specific videos, you can look up the R56 JCW DIYs, they use 314MM brembos up front and the process is the same from the JCW to the M235i. As always, report back to us with what pads you went with and the overall process!

They have redstuff and yellowstuff, and a good price and combined shipping for about $75.00
