yup the sand and i do a lot of hiking and that can get very messy.

I like these from BMW, they're black carpet with Red rubber trim, BMW embroidered in white. I think you can order them in all black as well. They are also rubber on the bottom so water won't soak through.

Agree 100%, my dealer threw in a set at delivery since they could not find the stock carpet mats that come with the car. They looked awesome on day one. After 1000 miles later, the driver side is already stained with deep dirt / black skid marks from shoes that won't come off. The passenger side is not fairing any better thanks to gravity and a half filled coffee cup.

Anyone have comments on these from an eBay seller called "AutoWin", I like the ones with the colored trim, especial since my interior is all black...

I did read the thread. The ones that I linked to are after market and not the same as the ones that you bought. They have thick black carpet with a rubber heel pad and thick rubber underneath. So have a look, personally I like them.

My apologies sir.... thought you were referring to the M Performance mats.

Thanks for the link, did take a look at the mats and your are correct, they seem to be much better.

I did finally find a way to satisfactory clean the grey/silver area of the M Performance mats, Citrus Magic Nature's Orange Heavy Duty Cleaner/Degreaser (Walmart) and a 3100 PSI gas powered pressure washer.

Thanks, I'll give that a try when I switch our the rubber mats for the MP's in a couple months. I like the MP's but like you said, they are a bitch to clean and keep looking nice. If and when I ditch the MP's, I'm going "old school" with something from Coco Mats - pricey but a good look and quality product.

I'm also looking for 228i coupe floor carpet mats. I've done some research. Check out www.carid.com. They resell a range of custom carper mat vendors specifically for F22. LLoyd looks good/friendly customer support. Also check eBay. I have found a few vendors that do sell F22 carpet mats. But I have a bigger problem, most won't ship to Canada. Does anyone know of a vendor(s) that will ship to Canada at a reasonable rate? Some ask $>50 just for shipping, not including duty. Thx RJD

I like my M Performance mats, personally. They show dust/dirt easily, as you can see from the pic below, but since they are essentially made of smooth rubber on top, a quick wipe with a damp microfiber rag and they look new again. I kind of like how it forces me to stay on top of it more frequently, and for some reason, I also find it less annoying than getting out the vacuum cleaner.

Btw, they cost me $105 + shipping for the front mats. Check bmwpartspros.com. I did not bother with the rear set, but they are only $45 more if you wanted them.

If I was going aftermarket, I'd look at Coco Mats first.

I agree the stock floor mats are complete rubbish. They are so bad that it's really the only thing with this car that I can complain about from a quality standpoint. Just rubbish.

Haven't been able to find any decent ones.
I have these and quite like them, They are a year-round solution in milder climates: https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/5...NCE-FLOOR-MATS

OK it's done. I have purchased these floor carpet mats from eBay. Nice carpet feel. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fits-14-18-...gAAOSwmNxahqiC

Coco is good in summer, but they collect dirt and take endless time to dry out in the winter. Weathertech all the way for the rainy snowy season.

Has anyone tried the AC Schnitzer mats? They look awesome, but I just want the fronts. No way I’m dropping $220 on a set. I run Weathertechs from November till April, but I have always hated the OEM mats. I do like the fact they’re super light though, so maybe I’ll just deal.

I'll have to look into getting some weathertech mats for these next few months. Thankfully I spend almost all of my time in the southeast United States and rarely encounter snow more than once a year. Thanks for the heads up!

I think at this point I'll get a nice set of Lloyd's mats and find a local shop to embroider the ///M Logo on, so they feel a little nicer.

When I was into Car Shows I worried about things like Mats. Now I make sure my shoes are clean. Also just bought some Auto Zone black rubber mats that do the job for those rainy days ...
