Rotor Size Question?

Well Im trying something out with brakes on my F30 and I found my way over here through reading and searching.

So I recently found out the factory M235i rotors up front are 340mm and the rear are 345mm. Why did BMW do this? Why larger rotors in rear? I was always under the impression M235i had 370mm up front from the factory but I was very wrong.

What I am doing with my F30 is just changing the rear bosh floating caliper to a 2 piston yellow Mperformance calipers with 345mm in rear and coding it. SO Im going from 330 to 345 as Im just going to paint the front to match since its brembo already.

With this I have gotten alot of conflicting info that the "braking behavior" will change because a 335i never came with this type of setup or DSC may not work properly.
Well how does it work with a M235i which is even higher powered but it comes with 340mm/345mm?
Can anyone chime in?
