anyone install adjustable sway bar end links when lowered?

theres quite a few options, bimmerworld, turner, hpmotorsport, godspeed, ground control, whiteline, hotckins, rogue engineering.

some use race style heim joints, and others use more OEM style sealed joints.

Although not necessary adjustable links allow you to get the sway bar back to a more desirable geometry after lowering the car. If you want absolute longevity, you should look at OEM style sealed joint links. Heim joint may be quiet at first but will eventually be noisy and should be reserved for track or a race car. Unless you don't mind the noise.

Thanks I bought a set from you and installed them. Worked great, I got them set so there is no pre-load on the bar now at rest.

i got mine from HP Autosports. They use some nice links. They are not straight heim joints like some that will wear out on the street. They are a unique sealed ball joint from powergrid that are called THK ball joints, it's a nice setup. http://www.powergridinc.com/swaybar.asp

They can make any length for different applications, either specify center length, or min,max that you need.

No idea what length I need, any guidelines on how to measure? Should it be on load, off load? etc.

loaded. The full weight of the car on the wheels. If you can get on a 4 post drive on lift, that is the best way to do it.

You could do that. Just be very careful.

How far have you lowered your car? We can usually get you the right length you need unless is something totally custom.

Is it the lower you are the smaller the endlinks should be?

Nope. As you lower the car, the shocks go up towards the body, but the end links lengthen because the swaybars are static against the subframe. So it is opposite of what you would think lol
